3D PCB Viewer

  • Real board outline at the actual manufactured dimensions — no more tiny board with components floating beside it
  • Full routed traces rendered on both the front and back copper layers
  • Silver SMD and through-hole pads visible beneath the soldermask, just like a real board
  • Bottom-side components properly placed under the substrate so you can flip the board and see them
  • Silkscreen reference labels (R1, U2, C12…) printed beside every component, matching the way real boards are marked

Circuit Simulation

  • Engineering-notation results everywhere — values automatically render as mV, kΩ, mA, µF instead of long decimals
  • Multi-rail power supply breakdown showing voltage, current and total power per rail
  • More accurate component value parsing — 1M now correctly means 1 megaohm, 1m means 1 milliohm
  • First-class simulator support for transformers, thermistors, optocouplers, varistors and crystals
  • Improved Monte Carlo display for digital and microcontroller designs that don't have analog operating points
  • Cleaner result tables — no more 27 identical rows, and proper split between branch currents and node voltages

Mechanical CAD

  • Dramatically more reliable design generation — far more briefs complete on the first attempt
  • Unified, faster mechanical engine with quicker startup and lower memory usage
  • Cleaner recovery when a single shape operation fails — the rest of the design still completes
  • STL export is now always written so the 3D viewer can load the result immediately

Workspace & Onboarding

  • New welcome modal walks first-time users through the platform and stays a click away from the Help button
  • Closing modals and dialogs is now obvious on phones with a clearly visible close button
  • Round-two mobile polish across the pipeline bar, login, pricing and admin pages
  • “View Sim Results” pill lifted above the prompt bar so it never overlaps on small screens

AI Pipeline

  • Upgraded to the latest generation AI model for higher-quality schematic, PCB and mechanical output
  • Live chip on the netlist stage shows which reference-design parts were auto-injected for you
  • Smarter merging of multi-block designs preserves datasheets and removes duplicate connectors
  • Pull-up resistor rails now resolve correctly when a design uses inheritance across modules

Reliability

  • Design Rule Check timeout automatically scales with board size — large boards no longer time out
  • Stricter handling of airwires so unrouted nets surface in the status panel instead of being skipped silently
  • Mechanical runner crash loop fixed — every successful run persists its results
  • Background self-healing keeps the engines responsive even if a single job misbehaves

Platform

  • iRobotics module promoted from Coming Soon to Beta with a live entry point
  • Refreshed Help center reflecting all v1.0.3 capabilities

Release Notes — v1.0.2

Schematic Quality

  • Power pins land on the top of every IC, ground on the bottom, signals split by category on the sides — like a hand-drawn engineering schematic
  • Decoupling caps and pull-up resistors automatically grouped with their parent IC instead of stranded in a separate column
  • Power and ground symbols (+3V3, +5V, GND, etc.) drawn at every connected pin instead of long crossing wires
  • Vertical passives matching standard symbol conventions
  • Wires now terminate at the actual pin tip — no more "floating" or wires-through-components

PCB Quality

  • Components packed into a tight rectangle with no wasted board space
  • Eliminated power-trace shorts on multi-layer boards — vias drop straight to the dedicated power and ground planes
  • Critical RF and antenna nets routed first for the cleanest signal path
  • Real component dimensions used during placement — no more cluster overflow into neighbors
  • Live diagnostics chip on the PCB stage shows under-routed parts and low-confidence pin assignments

AI Pipeline

  • Per-IC verification pass — every pin on every chip is now individually validated against its real datasheet pinout
  • Automated audit-and-fix step closes orphan nets the AI may have left dangling
  • Massively expanded parts library — ~17,000 symbols including the latest ESP32-S3, ESP32-C3, ESP32-C6, RP2040, and more
  • Unknown ICs no longer collapse into a 2-pin placeholder — the schematic now draws every pad with proper electrical types

Workspace & Viewers

  • Brief tab now shows your design description and writing tips at a glance
  • Background color picker for each viewer — pick from light, dark, blueprint, or any custom color independently for schematic, PCB 2D, mechanical 3D, and PCB 3D
  • Day-mode contrast improvements across the 3D viewer toolbars and zoom controls
  • Persistent simulation launcher row — SPICE, EM, thermal, and signal-integrity buttons stay visible after the first run
  • Pipeline tabs always navigable — back-stepping after generation no longer locks the workflow

Reliability

  • Schematic stage no longer hangs — status polling decoupled from rate limits
  • PCB stage gracefully handles design-engine errors instead of silently advancing
  • AI responses recover automatically from partial / truncated output
  • Stronger retry logic for transient design-engine connectivity blips

Platform

  • iOrchestra now leads the platform launcher with iRobotics added as a coming-soon module
  • Refreshed Help center reflecting all v1.0.2 capabilities
